The Green 50 is a new research-based media feature currently in production by New River. It will be New Zealand’s first ever list of the top 50 ‘green’ businesses, those making the most money improving the environment.

It is to launch in June. To see why we’re doing it, click the animation below. The research will include the top-list of green companies, analysis on the green economy in New Zealand and analysis on how these companies succeed. 

Multiple research methods are being used. New River will be interviewing business leaders across all sectors of the economy to build the list. Successful companies improving the environment can also apply to be considered for the list. Companies will be ranked by a mix of revenue and growth rate. All applications will be treated in confidence. Or if you know of a highly successful company improving the environment please nominate by the 10th of May.
